Mike's career path led him to Tulsa, where he transitioned to gas processing and subsequently moved to Colorado, emphasizing operating and engineering aspects. Over the past decade, he has been associated with oil production companies, making the shift from midstream to upstream operations in 2008. With more than 30 years of experience, Mike thrives in an industry where projects are quick, diverse, and require a blend of creativity and technical expertise.
Notably, Mike Conder has contributed significantly to the field, co-inventing a patented process for generating hydrogen-enriched fuel gas for emissions reduction and carbon dioxide sequestration. His extensive knowledge is evident in various publications, where he has shared insights on topics such as gas gathering and processing options for unconventional gas and economic optimization of processing facilities.
His specialization includes the design of natural gas processing, gas gathering, and gas compression systems. Additionally, Mike has demonstrated a keen interest in education and training, having presented on topics like developing a training program for new engineers.
